The garden setting in the original Richmond restaurant, pictured above, is the epitome of outdoor dining beauty. With sumptuous Italian dishes to boot, what’s not to love?
It’s a shame not to enjoy HAYA’s pastel interiors but pitching up on Kensington Park Road is the next best thing. This is a Mediterranean restaurant with Israeli influence. Inspired by founder Victoria Paltina’s visits to Tel Aviv, the dishes are flavoursome and perfect for sharing. Outdoor tables can be reserved online.
Run by a passionate chef and sommelier double act, this cute spot opened during the pandemic. Well-priced natural wines and farm to table ingredients make up a menu that changes weekly. The car parking spot is a makeshift al fresco space and it does the trick.
Notting Hill’s go to for organic, sustainable and fine produce coupled with a fine wine shop. Perch outside and soak up the eclectic Golborne Road atmosphere as you nibble on deli favourites. Call to book.
This Portobello Road favourite is always buzzing but it’s tricky to get a table. Book well in advance for a fun cocktail-fuelled night out. Don’t leave until you have order the roasted cauliflower - it’s quite something.
Just off the King’s Road, Stanley’s courtyard bar and restaurant is inspired by the English country garden. Booths have been fitted with reclaimed timber screens to enable social distancing with the Orangery and dining room providing beautiful spaces for coffee, lunch, drinks and dinner.
A wholefood kitchen using seasonal ingredients and a place to find ethical produce sourced from predominantly British farmers and makers. Also born during lockdown, the team hear couldn’t be more friendly or passionate.
If you have been desperate to ditch the loungewear and get dressed up for the occasion, this is the place to enjoy an indulgent night. The heated roof terrace cannot be reserved but if there is space you may just get lucky. Savour the beautifully prepared South American and Latin cuisine in charming restaurateur and designer Juan Santa Cruz’s lush surroundings.
Stevie Parle and Tom Dixon ’s venture on Portobello Dock is a considered, quality driven venture. Lunch under one of the parasols is perfect for a sunny afternoon and if it rains there is free cancellation.
