In celebration of London’s creative and design scene, we are very excited to announce that Rapport has teamed up with The Makers in Shoreditch to curate and host a programme of vibrant events.
We’ll be popping up in a lovely space on the ground floor of the striking building on Nile Street to host talks, workshops and suppers. From floral arranging to wine tastings and interior makeover evenings, the colourful casa (we like to think of it as a home from home) will be a hub of activity over the coming months.
Tucked away from City Road between the dynamism of the Shoreditch area and the financial district of the City of London, The Makers is rather uniquely positioned.
Shoreditch and the wider borough of Hackney is defined by the people who choose to live and work there – the graphic designers, publishers, cake makers, and photographers, the night-runners, the florists and the chefs. So it is the perfect setting for championing the people who bring London to life.
We’ll be kicking off proceedings with a Meet The Makers talk centred on home makeovers. Interior design gurus Russell Whitehead & Jordan Cluroe, aka 2LG Studio, will join Rapport’s founder Amira Hashish @thedesigneditor in conversation for an evening of fun chat and delicious drinks.
Leave brimming with ideas for your revamp. There’ll be plenty of fizz to keep that inspiration flowing. Book tickets here.
More programming details to follow. We can’t wait to meet you (or to be reunited) as London gets back to its spirited and joyful best.
